----Game Features----

** The most advanced turn based engine invented.
   Soldiers can see and hear their enemy.
   They can run, walk, duck, be knocked out, punch, grab, push, shoot,
   plant and more.
** Estimated 40 hours of play.
   26 missions each taking 30 minutes to 4 hours to complete.
** Interactive environment. 
   Barrels explode, fire spreads, smoke chokes.
** Progressive mission based format. 
   Unlock future missions as you progress and play any completed
   mission at will. Play any or all of 8 different sides.
** Advanced AI.
   Enemies guard the longest line of sight, reload and heal 
   themselves, run, walk, duck and perform any action a human
   player can. Fight alongside CPU controlled allies in huge battles.
** Atmospheric lighting.
   Fire glows in colour, vision fades to blackness.
** Full expandability. 
   Plug in system ensures that everything, missions, units, graphics,
   sound, weapons, music are changeable via expansion disks called
   scenarios.
** 100 weapons and items from Infernos, Blast Burners, Repulse Rifles,
   Storm Cannons, Disintigrators, Shotguns, HAVOK guns, Chain guns to
   REMEX, Detonators, Stimulants, Medikits, Skystrikes, Scanners.
** Customisable. Play missions that change every time you play. Play
   fixed missions with random enemies. Play turn based or initiative
   based games. The choices are yours.
** Up to 4 player (8 in future scenarios) multiplay. 12 custom and
   random maps for your delight. Play any side from alien bugs to
   mercenaries. Co-operative mission support and free-for-alls with
   CPU controlled allies.

----Quick Instructions for Arcangel----

** Front end

1. Click 'Start Game'. Click on the mission icon and 'Next'.
   Read the briefing, click 'Next'.
2. Hire some units (soldiers) and click 'Auto-Equip'. Right click on
   the unit to select them for the mission (turns the name white).

3. The coloured men (either side of the unit picture) show the
   following stats for each unit, click to cycle:
   Red: Health/Stun Health
   Orange: Stamina/Stamina Recovery
   Blue: Shot Skill/Max Action Points
   Green: Strength/Wounds
   Medals: Empty for this demo
   Rank: Unused for this demo

** Game

1. Click on a unit to select them. The white number in the panel is
   the current Action Points.
2. The cursor shows the places you can move to. Green for walk,
   striped yellow/black for run. Left click to move.
3. Click on the 'pack' tab to bring up your inventory. Click an item
   to hold.
4. Click on the 'floor' tab to bring up your inventory. Click an item
   to pickup. Click on an empty space to drop the current item.
5. Click on a hand space (left/right ends of panel) to use an item.
   When in fire mode, right click to return to walking.
6. When each unit has used up their Action Points, end the turn.

** Panel icons are (left to right, reading downwards)
   Centre on visible enemy (icon lights up when an enemy is visible)
   Glass walls
   Centre on current unit
   Map (green dots are your team, red other units, yellow are sounds)
   Toggle run/walk (running uses more Stamina, less AP's)
   Duck/stand (ducking increases accuracy and rests the unit)
   Next unit
   End turn
   Click on the unit portrait, then the spacecraft to abort the game.

** Action Point Usage
   Walk one square: 2 (diagonal is 3) (1 Stamina)
   Run one square: 1 (2 Stamina, 3 Stamina per diagonal)
   Turn/Change facing: 1 for any direction
   Look at enemy: 1
   Duck: 2
   Stand: 4
   Hold item: 2
   Release/Unhold item: 1
   Pick up item: 2
   Drop item: 1
   Fire/Use: Depends on weapon but you only need >50% to use it
   Look at map/Toggle walk or run: 0

----Known Bugs----

** Older versions of the Mach64 graphics card drivers are incompatible
   with DirectX colour keys, pink garbage appaers. New versions of the
   driver fix this problem.
** There are other driver issues reported with ATI cards. Always
   ensure that you have the latest graphics drivers for you card and
   the latest version of Microsoft DirectX installed.
